Borussia Dortmund secured their second win of the Bundesliga season with a 2-0 victory over Bayer Leverkusen at Signal Iduna Park on Saturday afternoon.
The match saw Borussia Dortmund dominate possession and create numerous chances throughout the game, but it was the team's star forward, Erling Haaland, who scored both goals to help his side secure all three points.
Haaland's first goal came after just five minutes of play, when he received a pass from Christian Fuchs and calmly slotted home the ball into the back of the net. The second goal came two minutes later as Haaland collected a cross from Jadon Sancho and fired home with ease.
While Haaland's goals were key to the victory, it was Brandt's assist that really set the tone for the match. In the 69th minute, Brandt played a through-ball to Haaland, who took advantage of the space to race past his marker and slot home the equalizer.
Overall, this was a dominant display by Borussia Dortmund, who showed their quality and depth across the pitch. While they may have been without their captain, Mats Hummels, due to injury, they still managed to secure all three points against a strong Bayer Leverkusen side.
